Daisy Batman

Daisy was married to G. W. Batman and the couple had three small children. Daisy was saved at fourteen years of age and sanctified in April 1906. When she visited the Azusa mission she became very hungry for m0re of God. However, she could not attend regularly because she worked full-time helping to support her family. She said that God told her to trust Him and He would supply all her needs. She then sought him continuously and He was the family's provider.

Three years previously, the Batmans had received a missionary call to Africa. Daisy thought she would send G.W., but the Lord told her, "No, you must go too." The couple thought they would go soon, but years passed. Now, three months after receiving their baptism they were ready to fill the call. Daisy said, "I am so glad I got to the place where the blessed Lord's will is my will." (Apostolic Faith , December 1906).

The Batmans, with their children, left for Monrovia, Liberia, Africa with a group from the mission. Sad to say, the entire family perished with the plague soon after arriving in Africa.
